Abstract

"MéTODO PARA INCREMENTAR A ESTABILIDADE DE UMA EMULSãO áGUA-EM-óLEO ESTABILIZADA COM SóLIDOS, E, EMULSãO áGUA-EM-óLEO ESTABILIZADA COM SóLIDOS". Método para incrementar a estabilidade de uma emulsão água-em-óleo estabilizada com sólidos por meio de pré-tratamento do óleo antes da emulsificação. A etapa de pré-tratamento pode ser realizada adicionando-se ácido diluído ao óleo, adicionar um aditivo de lignossulfato ao óleo, sulfonar o óleo, oxidar termicamente o óleo, tratar termicamente o óleo em um ambiente inerte, e combinações dos mesmos. The pretreatment step can be performed by adding dilute acid to the oil, adding a lignosulfate additive to the oil, sulfonating the oil, thermally oxidizing the oil, heat treating the oil in an inert environment, and combinations thereof. The emulsion may be used in enhanced oil recovery methods, including using the emulsion as a carrier fluid to displace hydrocarbons in an underground formation, and using the emulsion as a barrier fluid to divert fluid flow in the formation.
