"APARELHO E MéTODO PARA REPORTAR CARGA DE SERVIçO à ESTAçãO MóVEL EM SISTEMA DE TELECOMUNICAçãO MóVEL". é fornecido um método e aparelho para selecionar uma estação base apropriada e uma velocidade de dados ótima para fornecer um serviço de voz e um serviço de dados com base em uma carga de serviço de voz em um sistema CDMA. Uma estação base transmite dois sinais pilotos espalhados ortogonalmente com diferentes códigos ortogonais em associação com sua carga de serviço de voz, e uma estação móvel estima a carga de serviço de voz com base em uma proporção de potência piloto.
