Abstract

"EIXO, NOTADAMENTE TRASEIRO, PARA VEìCULO AUTOMOTIVO". A invenção refere-se a um eixo (10) traseiro de veículo automotivo, compreendendo dois braços longitudinais (12) articulados transversalmente em relação a uma carcaça do veículo, do tipo em que os braços (12) são ligados por uma travessa (22) transversal, que é fixada aos braços em suas extremidades (28) e que é formada por duas asas (24, 26) reunidas sensivelmente, em seção longitudinal, sob a forma de um U, caracterizado em que cada asa (24,26) da travessa (22) tem uma extremidade aberta ao longo de um arco (C) tangente à direção transversal geral da travessa (22) e tangente à direção longitudinal geral (L) do braço associado (12), de modo a produzir uma zona de conexão em que são anuladas as tensões de empenamento (G).
