Abstract

Patente de Invenção: "JUNTA TUBULAR FILETADA ESTANQUE à PRESSãO EXTERNA". A junta filetada para tubos, de acordo com a invenção, é destinada notadamente à indústria do petróleo e do gás, e às uniões de tubulações realizadas a partir dessa junta. Essa junta comporta um elemento macho (1) disposto na extremidade de um primeiro tubo (3) e um elemento fêmea (2) disposto na extremidade de uma segunda tubulação (4). O elemento macho (1) é munido de uma filetagem macho cónica externa e o elemento fêmea (2) é munido de uma filetagem fêmea cónica interna correspondente à filetagem macho. Um meio de estanqueidade central (9) formado por uma superfície de abaulamento macho e uma superfície de abaulamento fêmea, em apoio uma sobre a outra e dispostas respectivamente em uma zona central da filetagem macho e da filetagem fêmea, na qual essas filetagens foram interrompidas, assegura a estanqueidade da junta, quando a junta é unida. Essa junta e as uniões de tubulações realizadas a partir dessa junta são particularmente interessantes, devido à sua estanqueidade às pressões externas elevadas.
