Abstract
Patente de Invenção: "MATERIAL DE FUNDIçãO PARA CILINDROS INDEFINIDOS, COM UMA PARTE DE ENVOLTóRIO E PROCESSOS PARA PRODUçãO DO MESMO". A invenção refere-se a um processo para produção e processamento de materiais de fundição para cilindros indefinidos com uma parte de envoltório. Para aperfeiçoar, particularmente em cilíndros nos últimos montantes de um trem de laminação de fitas, as propriedades de uso dos mesmos e seu tempo de vida útil, está previsto de acordo com a invenção que (A) uma fusão é produzida com uma composição química em % em peso de: 2,0 a 3,5 de C, 1,0 a 2,0 de Si, 0,5 a 2,0 de Mn, 1,0 a 3,0 de Cr, 3,5 a 4,9 de Ni, 0,2 a 2,9 de Mo, ferro restante e impurezas e (B) mais de 0,5% em peso de vanádio são adicionados, em uma extensão de até 5,9% em peso, dissolvidos na mesma e (C) a composição da fusão é ajustada por meios de técnica de liga, por determinação das concentrações de carbono, silício, níquel e da soma eficaz dos elementos formadores de carbureto, de tal modo que na solidificação da mesma é formada uma microestrutura que apresenta 1,0 a 3,0% em volume de grafita, com a condição de que existam mais de 20 partículas de grafita por mm^ 2^ de superfície de observação de uma lamínula metalográfica e o restante consista, substancialmente, em martensita, 8 a 35% em volume de carburetos eutéticos e pelo menos 1% em volume de monocarburetos finamente distribuídos, após o que (D) a fusão é fundida em um molde e deixada solidificar-se para um corpo, corpo esse, produzido desse modo, que é (E) submetido a um tratamento térmico.
