Abstract
Patente de Invenção: "DISPOSITIVOS INTRAVASCULARES TECIDOS E MéTODOS PARA FABRICAR OS MESMOS E APARELHO PARA O FORNECIMENTO DOS MESMOS". Dispositivos intravasculares tecidos, auto-expansíveis para utilização como extensores (tanto retos quanto atilados), filtros (tanto temporários quanto permanentes) e oclusores para inserção e implantação em uma variedade de estruturas anatómicas. Os dispositivos podem ser formados de metais com memória de forma tais como o nitinol. Os dispositivos podem também ser formados de materiais biodegradáveis. Os sistemas de fornecimento para os dispositivos incluem dois tubos ocos que operam coaxialmente. Um dispositivo é preso nos tubos antes da implantação e o fornecimento do dispositivo é feito prendendo uma extremidade do dispositivo no lado externo do tubo interno e prendendo a outra extremidade do dispositivo no lado externo do tubo externo. Os extensores podem ser parcialmente ou completamente cobertos por materiais de enxerto, mas podem também ser descobertos. Os dispositivos podem ser formados de um único fio.
