Abstract

<B>MéTODO DE MODULAçãO PARA TRANSMISSOR<D> Em um sistema de comunicação sem fio, o esquema de mapeamento da constelação aplicado pode ser mudado para uma base por intervalo de tempo, isto é, de intervalo de tempo a intervalo de tempo, de forma que a constelação usada para codificar os símbolos de cada intervalo de tempo possa ser diferente para cada intervalo de tempo dentro de um quadro único, e possa ser diferente para um intervalo de tempo particular em diferentes quadros consecutivos. Em outras palavras, muitos esquemas de mapeamento em constelação estão disponíveis, cada um fornecendo a habilidade de transmitir um número diferente de bits por símbolo, e o esquema de mapeamento em constelação particular aplicado por qualquer intervalo de tempo precisa ser selecionado por aquele intervalo de tempo somente. A habilidade para usar qualquer esquema de mapeamento em constelação particular depende da qualidade do canal vigente. O mapeamento em constelação particular usado pelos dados do usuário do intervalo de tempo pode ser indicado no preâmbulo do intervalo de tempo. Para esse fim, cada intervalo de tempo pode ter seu próprio preâmbulo, mapeado com um esquema de mapeamento em constelação que a) é conhecido a priori, b) pode ser o mesmo para todos os intervalos de tempo e c) pode ser diferente do esquema de mapeamento em constelação usado para codificar os dados do usuário no intervalo. Um receptor pode determinar o mapeamento em constelação usado por cada intervalo de tempo a partir, exclusivamente, do preâmbulo de intervalo de tempo.
