Abstract
The concentrate is designed for the manufacture of products made of different thermoplastics by casting and extrusion. By the method it is possible to produce granules having larger extent of homogenous sizes, with minimum quantity of powder residue, of increased concentration of the active substance accompanied by steady progress of the technological process. The method is effected by the granulation of gas-separating substances and additives in a thermoplastic polymer-carrier. The operations included in it are: grinding of the active components, their homogenation with the polymer carrier and granulation of the produced mixture by air cooling. Granulation is made in two stages. In the first one from 8 to 92% of the active gas-separating substance and the whole quantity of the thermoplastic carrier plymer are granulated, and the remaining 92 to 8% of them are added to the produced intermediate product together with which they are granulated in the second stage of granulation. The plasticized material is forced to subjection to additional rotative motion in the zone found immediately before the extrusion.
