Abstract

This lubricating and cooling is used in metal-cutting machines, namely for lathe turning and milling operations on parts made of non-ferrous metals. It offers improved process characteristics for a high-quality processing of the treated surface. The lubricating and cooling fluid consists of a mixture made up of normal paraffins (C13-C18) and petroleum ether, or a mixture of normal paraffins and ethyl alcohol.
