Abstract
The agent is applied in tobacco industry for production of filter cigarette rods. It has a reduced toxicity compared with the used-to-date plastificator and is produced by accessible raw materials; needs reduced quantities during the plastification of the filament. The plastificating agent is a mixture of diethyleneglycolacetate with polyethyleneglycol in proportion 50/50 up to 100% of pure diethyleneglycolacetate. The quantity of infused plastification agent is between 5.3 and 7.5% compared with the weight of the processed acetate fillament.
