Abstract

This method and device are used in the treatment of entrenchment cultures, grown in inclined grounds in soil liable to water erosion. They result in a decrease in the flow of solids and liquids as well as an increase in soil aeration and moisture content, this resulting in higher yield. In addition, operation of the working implements is stabilized and it is possible to cultivate across the slope. With this method, cultivation, cutting-through and treading are carried out in sequence, simultaneously and transversely to the slope. Cutting-through and treading are carried out at a depth of two to four times greater than in cultivation. The device consists of a common frame (1), an operating section for each row mounted to the frame (2) with more than one cultivating operating element attached (3) and a cutting-through working element (4) and treader (5) hinged to the lower end of the cutting-through working element (4).
