Prior art
Retreading is a method of restoring used tires where, after adding new material, the tire regains its original purpose, thereby extending its life.
In most cases, the part of the tire that wears out is the tread, while the carcass remains intact. As the tire carcass is designed to last longer, the ability to extend the life of the tire by replacing the tread is economically and environmentally beneficial. Generally, light tires are retreaded only once, truck tires two or three times, and aircraft tires - many times. With the "warm retread", the tread is made directly on the pre-treated carcass, thus ensuring a good connection between the individual parts of the retread tire.
A method of retreading tires for heavy-duty vehicles is known from practice, which includes the following operations:
проверяване и контрол на вътрешни сепарации на износената гума на широграф за установяване на нейната годност за регенериране;inspection and control of internal separations of the worn tire on a shirograph to establish its suitability for regeneration;
отстраняване чрез престъргване на остатъка от износения протектор и на страницата на годните за регенериране гуми чрез въртящи се режещи глави на престъргваща машина;removal by scraping of the rest of the worn tread and on the side of the retreadable tires by rotating cutting heads of a scraping machine;
обработване на дълбочинни наранявания на основата и на всички рискови участъци на престърганата гума на прав ръчен шлайф;treatment of deep injuries to the base and all risk areas of the scraped rubber on a straight manual sander;
поставяне при необходимост на пластир на повредено място от обработената престъргана гума;placing, if necessary, a patch on the damaged area from the processed shredded rubber;
нанасяне на лепило, осигуряващо връзка между каркаса и полагания каучук за формиране на новия протектор, като операцията се извършва в шприц кабина, осигуряваща изсъхване на лепилото при престой на гумата в нея за 15 минути;applying glue, ensuring a connection between the frame and the applied rubber to form the new protector, and the operation is carried out in a spray booth, ensuring the drying of the glue when the tire stays in it for 15 minutes;
поставяне на изсъхналата гума в екструдер, чиято глава се подгрява до 90°С за подгряване на невулканизиран каучук, нанесен под формата на ленти върху каркаса;placing the dried rubber in an extruder, the head of which is heated to 90°C to heat unvulcanized rubber applied in the form of strips on the frame;
нанасяне върху престърганите страници на каркаса на слой невулканизиран каучук, служещ за формиране на нова страница, като операцията се осъществява на машина за странична лента;applying to the scraped sides of the carcass a layer of unvulcanized rubber, serving to form a new page, the operation being carried out on a side band machine;
раздуване на диафрагма вътре в гумата, като диафрагмата е напомпена до налягане 15 bar;inflation of a diaphragm inside the tire, with the diaphragm inflated to a pressure of 15 bar;
изпичане на гумата и формоване на протектора се извършва във формоващи преси, подгрети от пара с налягане 5,7 bar при 155°С в продължение на 90 минути при налягане на пресата 16-18 bar;burning of the rubber and molding of the tread is carried out in molding presses heated by steam with a pressure of 5.7 bar at 155°C for 90 minutes at a press pressure of 16-18 bar;
изваждане на гумата от формоващата преса и отстраняване на изпресовките от каучук;removing the rubber from the molding press and removing the rubber moldings;
извършване на визуален контрол на регенерираната гума.performing a visual control of the regenerated tire.
In the described known method of retreading heavy tires, it is found that air remains between the diaphragm, whose function is to provide maximum pressure of the tire to the molding dies, and the inner side of the tire. This air forms air pockets that counteract the diaphragm and it takes an irregular shape, which also affects the shape of the tire, which is under mechanical pressure from the press molds. As a result, the diaphragm wears out more quickly due to bending or bulging and thinning in certain areas. Because of this, its life is shortened to 40 - 50 bakings, and this necessitates its more frequent replacement with a new one, which makes the production of retreaded tires more expensive. The remaining air expands in the baking process and this leads to its penetration into the carcass through micro cracks and makes the tire unusable. In addition, in patched tires, the poorly positioned diaphragm does not provide optimal pressure at the point of adhesion, resulting in the patches not being fully vulcanized and failing during the tire's service life.
With the known method, it is difficult to determine the exact amount of raw material that should be placed on the carcass, because due to the deformation of the carcass, more material is concentrated in places, and it is lacking in others. This causes visible defects on the sidewall and tread of the tire as a result both to frame distortion and uneven pressure from the diaphragm. As a result, there is a different thickness between the gripper grooves, which leads to vibration and imbalance of the retreaded tire and disrupts its normal operation.
Technical essence of the invention
The object of the invention is to create a method for retreading tires for heavy-duty motor vehicles, which provides both tire retreading in which the newly formed tread is free of
никакви деформации, така и качествено вулканизиране на поставените пластири по цялата им площ.no deformations, as well as quality vulcanization of the applied patches over their entire area.
The task was solved by creating a method for regenerating tires for heavy-duty motor vehicles, including the following operations:
проверяване и контрол на вътрешни сепарации на износената гума на широграф за установяване на нейната годност за регенериране;inspection and control of internal separations of the worn tire on a shirograph to establish its suitability for regeneration;
отстраняване чрез престъргване на остатъка от износения протектор и на страницата на годните за регенериране гуми чрез въртящи се режещи глави на престъргваща машина;removal by scraping of the rest of the worn tread and on the side of the retreadable tires by rotating cutting heads of a scraping machine;
обработване на дълбочинни наранявания на основата и на всички рискови участъци на престърганата гума на прав ръчен шлайф;treatment of deep injuries to the base and all risk areas of the scraped rubber on a straight manual sander;
поставяне при необходимост на пластир на повредено място от обработената престъргана гума;placing, if necessary, a patch on the damaged area from the processed shredded rubber;
нанасяне на лепило, осигуряващо връзка между каркаса и полагания каучук за формиране на новия протектор, като операцията се извършва в шприц кабина, осигуряваща изсъхване на лепилото при престой на гумата в нея за 15 минути;applying glue, ensuring a connection between the frame and the applied rubber to form the new protector, and the operation is carried out in a spray booth, ensuring the drying of the glue when the tire stays in it for 15 minutes;
поставяне на изсъхналата гума в екструдер, чиято глава се подгрява до 90°С за подгряване на невулканизиран каучук, нанесен под формата на ленти върху каркаса;placing the dried rubber in an extruder, the head of which is heated to 90°C to heat unvulcanized rubber applied in the form of strips on the carcass;
нанасяне върху престърганите страници на каркаса на слой невулканизиран каучук, служещ за формиране на нова страница, като операцията се осъществява на машина за странична лента;applying to the scraped sides of the carcass a layer of unvulcanized rubber, serving to form a new page, the operation being carried out on a side band machine;
раздуване на диафрагма вътре в гумата, като диафрагмата е напомпена до налягане 15 bar;inflation of a diaphragm inside the tire, with the diaphragm inflated to a pressure of 15 bar;
изпичане на гумата и формоване на протектора се извършва във формоващи преси, подгрети от пара с налягане 5,7 bar при 155°С в продължение на 90 минути при налягане на пресата 16-18 bar;burning of the rubber and molding of the tread is carried out in molding presses heated by steam with a pressure of 5.7 bar at 155°C for 90 minutes at a press pressure of 16-18 bar;
изваждане на гумата от формоващата преса и отстраняване на изпресовките от каучук;removing the rubber from the molding press and removing the rubber moldings;
извършване на визуален контрол на регенерираната гума.performing a visual control of the regenerated tire.
According to the invention, the method also includes an operation carried out before the operation of inflating the diaphragm inside the tire, namely:
поставяне на две диаметрално противоположно разположени текстилни ленти между диафрагмата и гумата; и оставане на текстилните ленти между диафрагмата и гумата по време на операцията изпичане на гумата и формоване на протектора за извеждане на останалия между тях въздух и постоянно притискане на диафрагмата към вътрешната част на гумата.placement of two diametrically opposed textile strips between the diaphragm and the tire; and leaving the textile strips between the diaphragm and the tire during the operation of burning the tire and forming the tread to remove the remaining air between them and constantly press the diaphragm against the inner part of the tire.
An advantage of the created method is the ensured possibility of completely removing the air, which arose as a result of the temperature expansions between the diaphragm and the tire, thanks to the ensured presence of the textile strips during the baking of the tire. The absence of air to expand when heated also protects the frame from damage. In addition, the life of the diaphragms used is extended up to 100 tire burns. Another advantage of the method is the ensured constant pressing of the diaphragm to the inner side of the tire and high-quality sticking of the patch, which vulcanizes over its entire area without the presence of bubbles on their edges. Raw material is saved, because due to the absence of deformations, the exact required amount is calculated and there are no unnecessary pressings. There are no visible defects on the sidewall and tread, as well as uniform rubber residues in between the gripper grooves, which prevents vibration and imbalance in the use of the finished tire.
Основно предимство на създадения метод е и невъзможността за деформиране на каркаса, което осигурява уеднаквяване и контрол на излизащите изпресовки .The main advantage of the created method is the impossibility of deforming the frame, which ensures uniformity and control of the outgoing pressings.
