Abstract

The invention relates to method and device for treatment of textile materials in water medium, in particular for the cleaning, disinfection and softening thereof. They can be used in everyday life for washing soiled textile materials, including clothes of natural or synthetic textile materials. The method consists in treating the textile articles in water medium for 40-60 min accompanied by the simultaneous effect of sonic or ultrasonic waves with a frequency range of 8,5 to 32 KHz, and in the presence of a permanent magnetic field created by the magnets (7, 8, 9, 10), whereat, under the influence of the ultrasonic waves, silver is dispersed in the washing solution in the form of particles creating a concentration of the silver ions of the order of 1.10-7 to 2.10-8 g/l.
