Abstract

Високоскоростните дискове CD-RW за запис с високаскорост (4х-10х) изискват нова стратегия за запис, която не е подходяща за запис при ниски скорости(1х-4х). Наличните устройства за запис на CD-RW възприемат тези дискове и правят записи съгласно наличните технологии за запис. Областта за калибриране на мощността (РСА) и областта за памет за програма (РМА), които са необходими за осъществяване назаписа, са скрити за наличните устройства за запис, като с тях се предотвратява осъществяването на записи, които не могат да бъдат четени, а дискът се изхвърля. По метода върху диска е приложена препратка за абсолютно време (АТIP), а местоположенията за начало на областите са определени чрез началото на даден период от време, фиксиран спрямо последваща входна област. В примерен вариант на изобретението (РСА) и (РМА) са неоткриваеми, тъй като е въведен скок на временния код на препратката за абсолютно време (ATIP) - например на една минута точно преди времето за начало на входната област. Съгласно друг вариант се въвежда абсолютно време в предварително оформения канал на скокове на временниякод (ATIP), между област за тест и област за отчитане на областта на програмата за калибриране (РСА).
