Abstract

The household appliance shall find application in residential electric appliances. By it reliable electric grounding of the structural components made of electric conductive material is achieved. The appliance (10), such as a refrigeration appliance, a stove, a washing machine, a dishwasher or the like, has at least one detachable supporting element (2)) for electrically operated components, such as compressors, switches, motors or the like, whose electric connection lines have a protective conductor (21) which serves as a ground. Housing (11) has at least one useful storage which includes electrically conductive structural components which can be contacted, made of an electrically conductive material, side walls (15), braces, a door or the like which to a great extent are interconnected by electrically conductive material and are electrically grounded. The supporting element has at least two contact elements (24) which, in mounted position of element (20) to housing (11) or to the structural elements are capable of interacting in electrical conductivity to housing (11) or the structural elements.
