Abstract
The blade can be attached to the hub of a rotor, e.g. to thehub of a fan. It is basically made of composite material (6) offibre-reinforced plastic. The base of the blade contains a metalring (3) with a means (7) for fixing the blade to the hub. Thering includes a hole (4) which in its cross-section has a zoneincreasing in the outward direction from the rotor blade. Areinforcement part (5) is mounted in hole (4) of ring (3) is sucha way that the material (6) should spread inside the ring, and thereinforcem ent fibres in the base of the blade are fitted in hole(4) of ring (3) between part (5) and the wall of hole (4)basically parallel to them.7 claims, 4 figures
