Abstract

L'invention vise à améliorer les propriétés d'utilisation et la méthode de fabrication d'une électrode centrale de bougie d'allumage, dans laquelle une pointe filiforme, composée d'un matériau résistant à l'usure et très résistant à la corrosion, est prévue sur le corps de base de l'électrode. Selon la présente invention, la pointe de bougie est représentée par la section libre d'un fil sous gaine (4) en saillie sur le corps de base (1), la gaine, composée d'un matériau doté de bonnes propriétés de soudage, d'une résistance suffisante à la corrosion et d'une résistance mécanique élevée, étant reliée à une ame composée d'un matériau résistant à l'usure et très résistant à la corrosion.
