The invention relates to a fencing in particular for KBERBARRIERES AND ROAD-WAVING TARGETS.

Such fencing using continuously twisted cables are well known. When using these fences

If the cables do not break then there is a great risk that the motor vehicle will be thrown back onto its own lane.
It is known that this problem can be further overcome by single or double wires or

ready anyway already done Means not yet an ideal solution to the problem of gradually expanding a motor vehicle colliding with the turning barrier until the energy of the colliding vehicle is completely exhausted and without breaking cables so that the motor vehicle does not enter the other lane and is not thrown back onto its own lane.
The object of the invention is to provide a fence of this type, which is an almost ideal solution to this problem. According to the invention this is achieved in that each cable consists of at least one set of two alternately twisted wires. Preferred embodiments are characterized in that one or more cables each consist of at least two strands of two alternately twisted wires each, which pairs are themselves alternately twisted, or in that one or more cables each consist of at least two sets of two alternately twisted wires each. wires, which sets themselves are continuously twisted.
Furthermore, it may be advisable if, according to the invention, at least two cables are mutually connected by connecting members which are directed substantially perpendicular to the cables, for which purpose so-called crank rods are preferably used: According to the invention, two or more cables have a metal network, for example a square braid, which bridges the space between these cables.
With reference to the drawing, in which an example and details of the fence according to the invention are shown, a description follows from which a few more features of the invention will immediately become apparent. In the drawing: Fig. 1 shows a schematic view of part of a wire fence, Fig. 2 shows a schematic top view of a motor vehicle colliding

This is because Kikc cable 3 consists of at least 6 coils of two alternating 4-wire wires 5, i.e. the wires 5 alternatively left and right over g5-n or more consecutive turns around each other.

Obviously, if desired, the consecutive series can each consist of a different number of windings, provided that the continuation of the windings is always opposite to each other. This type of cable is characterized by a loop. where a great extension of the cable can be achieved without breakage occurring. i3c; o ver4GtlTh, J can be 30? or noq more under the influence of loads acting on the cable and approaching the breaking load closely; .

The above-described cable therefore allows the. the piece between two posts 2 can be stretched very far when a motor vehicle whose front piece 7 is shown in fig. 2,

The great flexible extensibility of the cable 3 helps to gradually exhaust the speed of the impacting motor vehicle. Obviously, in general, cables 3 in more arranged one above the other will

These sets can then again be alternately twisted in the same manner as described above for a set of wires @, but it is also possible to twist these sets continuously. Preferably, the wires moreover have a non-circular cross-section, which also influences the hot effect favorably. Further additional effects can be achieved by not interconnecting at least two wires3 of the wire fence in more places by practically perpendicular to
