0 The present patent relates to a bullet, or shooting ammunition, inoffensive for compressed air rifle, being able to be loaded by the muzzle or by the breech of the barrel of the weapon, arranged for this purpose and the means suitable for ensuring it. the shot.
The characteristic of the object of the invention resides on the one hand in that the bullet or the firing ammunition consists of a suitable elastic material, for example of cork, rubber, plastic or other equivalent material, which may be in the form for example, conical, round, oval, cylindrical, etc., with the aim, during firing for approval or competition in premises accessible to the public, to prevent the projectile as it is envisaged cannot cause the person, who accidentally would be reached, the slightest injury, given that at the point of impact the ball, by its lightness and the nature of the material from which it is made, immediately rebounds causing no the person who would only be affected by a slight surprise,
on the other hand the arrangements of the muzzle or the breech of the barrel of the air rifle allow the use of the latter for firing such bullets.
The envisaged bullets can be loaded by the muzzle or by the aulasse of the barrel of the rifle which can be arranged for this purpose in different ways.
In order to bring out the above description more clearly, the appended schematic drawings represent, by way of explanation and not by way of limitation, the subject of the invention.
To this end, FIG. 1 shows views of different forms of bullet or firing ammunition.
Fig. 2 is a sectional elevation through the end of the barrel of a rifle, showing the arrangement of the muzzle for firing conical bullets.
Fig. 3 shows a view similar to that of FIG. 2, showing another arrangement of the muzzle for firing round, oval, cylindrical bullets or substance.
Fig. 4 represents a section in elevation in the anterior end of the barrel of an air rifle, showing how this one can be made suitable for the shooting of harmless bullets, by the contribution on the external part of the muzzle of the barrel, d 'a nozzle which may include the arrangements provided for in FIGS. 2 and 3.
Referring to Fig. 1, balls are represented by the (copic ball), lb (round ball), the (oval ball), Id (cylindrical ball), which may be made of an elastic material as stated above.
Fig. 2 partially shows the barrel 2 of a rifle in the mouth 3 of which is arranged a cone bore 4 for accommodating a conical bullet 1a.
Fig. 3 partially shows the barrel 5 of a rifle in the mouth 6 of which is arranged a cylindrical bore 7, making it possible to receive for example one of the bullets lb, le, ld.
In fig. 4 on the end of the barrel 8 of a rifle is: externally attached a nozzle 9, the inner part 10 of which can receive one of the arrangements 4 or 7 provided in FIG. 2 respectively 3.
The front sight 11 of the rifle can be used as shown to hold the nozzle 9 on the barrel 8.
If one wishes to load the barrel of the rifle by the breech, the rear end of the barrel will be arranged in the way in which its front end is arranged, as shown in fig. 2 and 3.

In the case where the lightness of the bullet resulting from the material from which it is made, would cause a shot without the slightest possibility of a relative precision, it is planned to accommodate in the interior of the bullet, a small metal mass, for example. example a small spherical shot which would be coated by the elastic material and that thus while increasing its weight, the bullet would retain its completely harmless character.
In order to give shooting an attraction for the pleasure and skill of the shooter, it is planned to execute the shooting on light targets representing for example animal figurines arranged in the interior of a box open on its front face so as to allow the shooter to aim at the chosen target which may tilt under the effect of the hit of the projectile and then be replaced.
The targets envisaged may during firing be fixed or mobile, and the case may advantageously receive a cover made of transparent material making it possible to illuminate the figurines under the action of daylight or of the source of lighting enjoyed by the room where the shots are fired.
The bullets or shooting ammunition envisaged will have a diameter slightly greater than the normal diameter 4.5 - 5 m / m, which is ordinarily equipped with air rifles.
As can be seen, all types of rifles can be used.
In summary, it is necessary to consider as coming within the scope of the present patent on the one hand harmless bullets or ammunition for air rifles on the other hand the arrangements made for this purpose, either on the muzzle or on the breech. of the barrel of the air rifle, characterized by the following.
CLAIMS.
1) Harmless bullet or ammunition for air rifle characterized in that it consists of an elastic material, for example cork, rubber, plastic or other equivalent material and this in various shapes, for example conical, round, oval , cylindrical, etc.
