PRESSURE SUPPLY DEVICE FOR BEER FLOW
The invention relates to a draw-off installation under pressure for the flow of beer without back pressure. Normally, for the flow of beer, draw-off taps are used, which are designed in such a way that the direction of the flow of the beer is not changed as much as possible, only slightly. The installation according to the invention is characterized, on the other hand, by the use of a tap with a rotary plug pressed on a non-rotating base disc and which comprises a hollow elbow in which the direction of the beer can be changed, when of its passage, at an angle of up to 180.
The line for supplying the beer to the tap preferably has an upward direction, while the outlet line has a downward direction and the elbow-shaped cavity in the rotary plug forms the top of the passage channel so that the flow of beer is directed in the shape of a swan neck when the tap is in the open position.
This ensures that the carbonic acid, collected at the highest position of the riser pipe, is discharged immediately upon opening the draw-off valve.
The elbow-shaped cavity of the rotary plug forming a connection for the inlet and the outlet, is moved in the closed position of the draw-off tap, from the opening of the inlet port so that the pressure of the beer , is exerted on the rotary plug only in the area of the section of the supply line.
This valve is, according to the invention, supported eccentrically and the support is disposed opposite the openings of the supply and departure conduits which are located in the sealed, non-rotating base disc of the rotary valve. 0 Grace? this eccentric support which can be elastic, the total pressure of the rotary valve on the surface

This base is proportionately small so that a small stroke of the rotary valve on the base plate and thus low actuation of the draw-off valve is guaranteed. In the same way, the fact that the beer pressure is exerted, with the tap closed, on the lower surface of the rotary valve, only in the section of the inlet opening.
Other characteristics and advantages of the invention emerge from the description of the embodiments shown in the drawings.
Fig. 1 shows a vertical section through the draw-off valve.
Fig. 2 is a plan view of the valve after removal of the handle and the upper nut pushing the rotary plug, together with an auxiliary disk.
Fig. 3 shows the auxiliary disk in plan.
Fig. 4, 5 and 6 are schematic views of a section through the rotary plug and the base disc at various positions of the post and respectively FIG. 4 for the open position, Fig. 5 for the position during the closing operation and FIG. 6 in the closed position. l represents the housing, 2 the fixed base plate, 3 the rotary valve, 4 the auxiliary disc, 5 the rivets, 6 the pressing nut, 7 a pin, 8 a pin in the rotary closure member 3, 9 a rotating cap, 10, a handle, 11 the beer supply channel; 12 the inlet channel for the beer in the housing 1 extending laterally and upwards;
13 the beer supply channel in the fixed base disc 2, 14 the connecting channel in the rotary valve 3, 15 the beer outlet channel in the fixed base disc 2, 16 the outlet nozzle of beer; 17 and 18 of the ventilation ducts in the rotary valve 3, 19 a recess in the housing 1 of an amplitude of about 100 to 120; 20 a recess in the housing for drawing off the auxiliary disc 4; 22 an air duct in the base disc 2; 23 a recess in the auxiliary disc 4, 24 of the openings in the axis 7 and 25 the clamping screw of the handle 10.
The opening and closing amplitude is 90 and corresponds to the usual amplitude.
After fitting the auxiliary disc 4 with the rivet heads facing upwards, the clamping nut 6 is screwed on a distance such that on the one hand, between the rotary plug 3 and the plate 2, a tight seal is obtained. - gas check and that on the other hand, the rotary valve 3 can still be turned slightly. In this way, the pressing nut 6 effectively remains in the adopted dispensing position. This is the case given that the auxiliary disc 4 is fixed and that the clamping nut 6 is located above the rivets 5 after having overcome a frictional force. For safety reasons, the pressure nut 6 will still be fixed with a stop screw.
By using rivets instead of springs the flow valve becomes simpler.
Since the rivets are located above the beer pipes, the necessary sealing is easily and safely obtained. @
The assembly and disassembly of the device are very simple. Screw 10 is loosened a little so as to be able to remove the rotating cap 9. After unscrewing the tightening nut 6, take the shaft 7 and remove the rotary plug 3 at the same time as the auxiliary plate 4. Plate 2 can be driven out from below.
The device can be easily and easily cleaned, which is of the greatest importance for a flow device.
As it is represented in FIG. 4, the elbow-shaped cavity 14 of the rotary valve forms the top of the passage channels - 13, 14, 15, 16

in the open position. In the closed position shown in
Figo 6 the elbow-shaped cavity 14 of the rotary valve 3 is in communication on the one hand with the outlet pipe 16 and, on the other hand with an opening 27 of the valve 3 serving as an air inlet to the valve. above a cavity
26 of the base plate 2.
The rotary plug 3 is placed and centered in the housing by the direction of its outer surface and is made of hard material, such as for example steel, glass or porcelain, while the base plate
2 is composed of a slightly softer material, such as for example a synthetic material or another similar very smooth material suitable for obtaining the seal.
The outlet nozzle 16 is inclined relative to the vertical, at its lower part.
