BOITE D'EMBALLAGE.
La présente invention concerne une boîte d'emballage constituée par un corps de boîte à coins et par un couvercle à bord de recouvrement.
Suivant l'invention, on a prévu que le corps de boîte formé d'un fond et de parois périphériques adjacentes à ce fond, présente, au moins dans l'une des parois périphériques,une fente découpée dans la région de la ligne de jonction intéressée, une lèvre extérieure de guidage étant formée par la matière provenant de la fente, et prolongeant le fond de la boite en faisant saillie hors de l'enceinte dela boite, tandis qu'à une paroi périphérique correspondante du couvercle se raccorde une languette de fermeture destinée, en vue de la fermeture de la boîte, à être introduite, dans la fente précitée et, de ce fait,dans le corps de la boîte.
Ceci permet une fermeture de la boîte telle que cette boîte ne peut s'ouvrir d'elle-même et, par suite, est propre à être expédiée sans autre précaution.
Cette disposition sera expliquée avec plus de détail sur le dessin qui montre, à titre d'exemple, un mode d'exécution dans lequel un couvercle à rabattement forme une seule pièce de matière avec le corps de boîte.
La figure 1 est une vue de la feuille de matière étalée et pré- parée, avec deux arrachements; la figure 2 est une perspective de la boîte à plus petite échel- le avec le couvercle représenté en position inclinée; la figure 3 montre, à plus grande échelle, une coupe verticale travers la partie de la boite munie de la languette de fermeture, à l'état fermé ; la figure 4 est une vue partielle par dessous de la figure 3.

La pièce de matière, consistant en une matière en feuille par exemple en carton, forme un rectangle qu', parallèlement à la largeur, est subdivisé par des rainures de pliage 1-5 indiquées par de doubles traits interrompus en surfaces appropriées. Il en est de même parallèlement à la longueur pour les rainures de pliage 6 et 7. En outre,sur l'un des côtés larges de la pièce, dans le prolongement de chacune des deux rainures de pliage longitudinales 6, 7, se trouve une encoche longitudinale 8. Sur les deux côtés longs de la pièce,dans le prolongement de chacune des deux rainures transversales de pliage 2 et 3, se trouve une encoche transversale 9 et 10 respectivement, et sur le second coté large de la pièce, dans le prolongement de chacune des deux rainures de pliage longitudinales 6, 7,
on a prévu une encoche longitudinale 11. De ce fait, la pièce de matière est subdivisée en surfaces appropriées, A représentant le fond du corps de boite, tandis que B, C, D, E servent à former les quatre parois périphéri- ques. A la parois périphérique E est adjacent le couvercle F qui présente des parties marginales pour former les trois parois périphériques de recou- vrement G, H et J En outre,à une extrémité des deux parois périphériques C, D du corps de boite, on a prévu une patte rabattable C D1 qui sert à la liaison avec la parois B, tandis qu'à chacune des extrémités de la paroi périphérique E il existe une patte rabattable E qui sert à la liaison avec la paroi G ou H du couvercle F;
des pattes rabattables G1 et Hl des parois périphériques G et H du couvercle F servent à la liaison avec la paroi pé- riphérique J du couvercle. Toutes les pattes rabattables mentionnées sont reliées par des agrafes ou de toute autre manière avec la paroi périphéri- que correspondante, sur la face interne de laquelle vient reposer la patte rabattable. A la paroi périphérique J du couvercle, se raccorde une languet- te de fermeture J1.
Le long de la paroi périphérique B du corps de boite formé de la manière décrite, dans la région de la rainure du pliage 1 a été découpée une fente 12 suivant cette rainure A l'aide de la matière provenant de cette fente on a formé une lèvre A1 qui prolonge le fond A de la boite et qui fait saillie hors de l'enceinte de la boite, cette lèvre étant divisée au milieu par un onglet 13 prévu dans le fond A. La fente 12 est arrondie aux extrémités, vers le fond A (voir figures 4 et 1).
Pour la fermeture de la botte.,on fait basculer vers le corps de la boîte le couvercle F à partir de sa position d'ouverture,autour de la rainure de pliage du fond 2 servant de charnière, suivant figure 2,, et l'on prend soin que la languette de fermeture J1 qui existe sur le couvercle, ren- contre par son bord libre la lèvre de guidage A1, ensuite à l'aide du guida- ge assuré par la lèvre A,on fait pénétrer cette languette à la main par la fente 12 dans l'enceinte de la boiter cette introduction de la languette de fermeture J1 à sa position efficace est facilitée non seulement par l'é- lasticité de la matière de la boite, mais aussi par la lèvre de guidage A1 et la disposition spéciale de la fente 12.
Du fait de la tension qui règne dans le couvercle F, ce couvercle a tendance à se déplacer vers le haut au- tour de la charnière 2.. En sorte que la languette de fermeture J1 est pressée vers le bas, c'est-à-dire contre le fond A et, en conséquence, l'effet de fermeture de la languette de fermeture J1 est renforcé. L'effet de rai- . dissement qui provient de la paroi périphérique J du couvercle munie de la languette de fermeture J1 et de la paroi périphérique B du couvercle de la boite (paroi qui présente la fente 12) par suite des pattes rabattables G et H, et respectivement, C1 et D1, contribue aussi à rendre difficile l'ou- verture du couvercle F de la boite.
Dans ces conditions , le couvercle est assuré dans la position de fermeture,de sorte que l'on évite une ouverture intempestive de la boite, même en cas d'action mécanique extérieure par une pression ou par un choc.
La boite décrite peut, à l'état fermé, servir, par exemple, à l'expédition d'imprimés ou d'un autre contenu du même genre, sans ficelle, sans fermeture par agrafage etc. En effet, sous l'action de ce contenu, la languette de fermeture J1 est chargée dans le sens de la fermeture, ce qui représente une difficulté supplémentaire d'ouverture intempestive pour

la boite. L'ouverture de cette boîte se fait de manière suivante : on tire vers l'extérieur à la main, le long du fond A, la languette de fermeture Ji dans la région de l'onglet 13 jusqu'à ce que son bord libre vienne à l'ex- térieur du corps de la botte, après quoi le couvercle F peut basculer vers le haut. Cette extraction de la languette de fermeture J1 est rendue possi- ble par l'élasticité de la matière de la boîte.
L'exécution de la boite peut aussi être la suivante : le couver- cle forme une pièce par lui-même, et sur deux parois périphériques, qui se font face, du couvercle, on prévoit une languette de fermeture J1 qui coo- père de la manière décrite avec une fente 12 prévue dans le c8té périphéri- que correspondant du corps de la boite et qui est guidée par une lèvre de guidage subordonnée A1.
Revendications :
1.Boîte d'emballage constituée par un corps de boite à coins et un couvercle à bord de recouvrement, caractérisé par le fait que le corps de boite formé d'un fond et de parois périphériques adjacentes à ce fond, présente au moins dans une paroi périphérique, une fente découpée dans la région de la ligne de jonction correspondante, la matière de la fente for- mant une lèvre extérieure de guidage qui prolonge le fond de la boîte et qui fait saillie hors de l'enceinte de la boite, tandis qu'à une paroi pé- riphérique correspondante du couvercle se raccorde une languette de ferme- ture destinée, en vue de la fermeture de la boite, à être insérée dans cette fente et, de ce fait, dans le corps de la boite, si bien que celle-ci ne peut s'ouvrir d'elle-même.

PACKAGING BOX.
The present invention relates to a packaging box consisting of a wedge box body and a cover with a covering edge.
According to the invention, provision is made for the box body formed of a bottom and peripheral walls adjacent to this bottom, to have, at least in one of the peripheral walls, a slot cut in the region of the junction line concerned, an outer guide lip being formed by the material coming from the slot, and extending the bottom of the box by projecting out of the enclosure dela box, while to a corresponding peripheral wall of the cover is connected a tab of closure intended, with a view to closing the box, to be introduced into the aforementioned slot and, therefore, into the body of the box.
This allows the box to be closed in such a way that this box cannot open by itself and, therefore, is suitable for being dispatched without further precaution.
This arrangement will be explained in more detail in the drawing which shows, by way of example, an embodiment in which a hinged cover forms a single piece of material with the box body.

The piece of material, consisting of sheet material eg cardboard, forms a rectangle which, parallel to the width, is subdivided by fold grooves 1-5 indicated by double dashed lines in suitable surfaces. It is the same parallel to the length for the folding grooves 6 and 7. In addition, on one of the wide sides of the part, in the extension of each of the two longitudinal folding grooves 6, 7, there is a longitudinal notch 8. Adjacent to the peripheral wall E is the cover F which has marginal parts to form the three peripheral covering walls G, H and J. In addition, at one end of the two peripheral walls C, D of the box body, there is provided a folding tab C D1 which serves for the connection with the walls B, while at each end of the peripheral wall E there is a folding tab E which serves for the connection with the wall G or H of the cover F;
folding tabs G1 and H1 of the peripheral walls G and H of the cover F serve for the connection with the peripheral wall J of the cover. All the foldable tabs mentioned are connected by clips or in any other way with the corresponding peripheral wall, on the inner face of which the foldable tab rests. A closing tab J1 is connected to the peripheral wall J of the cover.
Along the peripheral wall B of the box body formed in the manner described, in the region of the groove of the fold 1 was cut a slot 12 following this groove. Using the material from this slot a lip A1 which extends the bottom A of the box and which protrudes outside the enclosure of the box, this lip being divided in the middle by a tab 13 provided in the bottom A. The slot 12 is rounded at the ends, towards the bottom A (see figures 4 and 1).
To close the boot., The cover F is tilted towards the body of the box from its open position, around the bottom folding groove 2 serving as a hinge, according to FIG. 2 ,, and the care is taken that the closing tab J1 which exists on the cover, meets by its free edge the guide lip A1, then using the guide provided by the lip A, this tab is made to penetrate the by hand through the slot 12 in the enclosure of the box this introduction of the closure tab J1 to its effective position is facilitated not only by the elasticity of the material of the box, but also by the guide lip A1 and the special arrangement of the slot 12.
Due to the tension in the cover F, this cover tends to move upwards around the hinge 2 .. So that the closing tab J1 is pressed down, that is to say say against the bottom A and, consequently, the closing effect of the closing tab J1 is reinforced. The effect of rai-. dissement which comes from the peripheral wall J of the cover provided with the closing tab J1 and from the peripheral wall B of the cover of the box (wall which has the slot 12) as a result of the folding tabs G and H, and respectively, C1 and D1, also contributes to making it difficult to open the cover F of the box.
Under these conditions, the cover is secured in the closed position, so that an untimely opening of the box is avoided, even in the event of external mechanical action by pressure or by a shock.
The box described can, in the closed state, be used, for example, for shipping printed matter or other similar content, without string, without stapling etc. Indeed, under the action of this content, the closure tab J1 is loaded in the direction of closure, which represents an additional difficulty of inadvertent opening for

the box. The opening of this box is done in the following way: one pulls outwards by hand, along the bottom A, the closing tab Ji in the region of the tab 13 until its free edge comes outside the body of the boot, after which the cover F can swing upwards. This extraction of the closure tab J1 is made possible by the elasticity of the material of the box.
The execution of the box can also be as follows: the cover forms a part by itself, and on two peripheral walls, which face each other, of the cover, a closing tab J1 is provided which co-operates with the manner described with a slot 12 provided in the corresponding peripheral side of the body of the box and which is guided by a subordinate guide lip A1.
Claims:
1.Packaging box consisting of a box body with corners and a cover with a covering edge, characterized in that the box body formed of a bottom and peripheral walls adjacent to this bottom, present at least in one peripheral wall, a slit cut in the region of the corresponding junction line, the slit material forming an outer guide lip which extends the bottom of the box and protrudes out of the enclosure of the box, while that to a corresponding peripheral wall of the cover is connected a closing tab intended, with a view to closing the box, to be inserted in this slot and, therefore, in the body of the box, if although it cannot open on its own.
