La présente invention est relative à un bouton du type connu de ceux que l'utilisateur peut lui-même, sans l'ai- de d'aucune machine, monter instantanément et auquel il peut donner à sa guise toute décoration appropriée (en tissu, cuir, peau ou autre, voire même motif décoratif central quelconque. de sorte que la couturière ou la femme peut elle-même choisir

en magasin le genre de bouton qui lui plait et l'assortir avec le tissu de la robe, du manteau, du tailleur, fin corsage ou au tre vêtement auquel il est destiné.
Ce bouton est essentiellement caractérisé en ce qu' il consiste en une cage creuse annulaire dont les deux orifi- ces munis chacun d'un bord rabattu vers l'intérieur, sont de dimensions différentes et servent respectivement, celui de plus petit diamètre, d'appui à une pastille ou calotte cons- tituant la motif' décoratif central ou lui servant de support, et, celui de plus grand diamètre, de butée de retenue à des griffes élastiques d'une pièce de fond dont l'enclenchement par simple pression assure le maintien en place de la calotte par l'intermédiaire d'un ressort de compression emprisonné entre elles deux, en même temps que la face de cette pièce de fond, située du côté externe, porte la queue servant à coudre le bouton sur le vêtement.
L'enclenchement de la pièce de lond précitée assure ainsi le maintien en place de ladite calotte et le pincement du revêtement par 1'intermédiaire du ressort emprisonné entre elles deux.
A noter que, dans ces conditions, ce qui constitue un avantage extrêmement importantpour ce genre de boutons, l'épaisseur du revêtement importe peu, le ressort intercalaire se comprimant plus ou moins,C'est ainsi que, dans le cas de tissus, le même bouton peut recevoir aussi bien un léger tissu de soierie, qu'un épais tissu de laine.
Cette cage ou anneau peut évidemment être réalisée en tout matériau approprié (métal,, bois, matière plastique, cuir bouilli ou autre) et peut présenter ou recevoir toute décoration ou motif décoratif désiré.

FIG. 1 à 4 représentent les divers éléments constitutifs du bouton, à savoir: fig.l la cage nue, sans décor, fig.2 une coupe axiale de cette cage, fig.3 la calotte supérieure et fig. 4 la pièce de fond.
FIG. 5 représente, à plus grande échelle, une coupe d' ensemble du bouton monté.
FIG. 6 à 7 montrent de face, deux boutons de conception différente.
Ce bouton se compose: d'une cage 1 dont les bords des orifices sont rabattus pour former deux collerettes circulaires 2 et 3, celle 2 é- tant de plus petit diamètre que celle 3; d'une pastille 4 en forme de calotte à bord relevé 5 dont le diamètre est supérieur à l'orifice 2 mais inférieur à celui 3; d'un plateau 6 dont la périphérie est découpéepour for- mer des branches élastiques relevées 7 et qui est porteur, d' un côté, d'un ressort 8 et, de l'autre coté, de la queue 9 servant à la fixation du bouton par couture sur le vêtement.
Disposant d'un tel bouton, si l'on désire, par exemple en décorer la partie centrale avec du tissu, on décou- pe une rondelle de ce tissu 10 et on l'introduit dans la cage par l'orifice 3, puis on fait de même pour la pastille 4 dont le bord relevé 5 vient bloquer ledit tissu sous le bord rabattu dudit orifice 3.
On introduit enfin le plateau 6 en exerçant sur lui même une pression jusqu'à ce que ses lames 7 après avoir flé- chi et dépassé l'orifice 3, reprennent leur position et vien- nent se bloquer sous le bord rabattu dudit orifice qui leur empêche tout retour en arrière.

Le bouton a ainsi été monté sans l'aide d'aucune machine ou sertisseuse, le tissu se trouvant énergiquement pincé entre le bord supérieur 2 de la cage 1 et la pastille 4 du fait de la poussée qu'exerce sur elle le ressort 8 du fond 6.
A noter, en outre, que le profil du bord rabattu 8¯ et celui relevé 5 de la pastille obligent le tissu 10 à s'infléchir en zig-zag ce qui concourt à lui empêcher tout glissement.
L'on peut aussi remplacer le tissu 10 la peau ou autre par Un motif décoratif quelconque.
Dans ce cas, la pastille 4 n'est plus nécessaire, le motif décoratif lui même en tenant lieu. Il suffit que ce motif présente les mêmes dimensions que cette pastille et soit assez rigide pour supporter sans déformation la pression qu' exerce sur lui le ressort 8.
Comme le montre la figure 6, sur la cage 1 peut ê- tre monté tout élément décoratif approprié tel que 11. Cette cage 1 peut aussi constituer par elle-même une décoration.

This button is essentially characterized in that it consists of an annular hollow cage of which the two orifices, each provided with an edge folded inwards, are of different dimensions and serve respectively, that of the smaller diameter, of support for a pellet or cap constituting the central decorative motif or serving as a support, and, that of larger diameter, as a retaining stop for elastic claws of a base piece whose engagement by simple pressure ensures keeping the cap in place by means of a compression spring trapped between them, at the same time as the face of this bottom part, located on the external side, carries the tail used to sew the button on the garment .
The engagement of the aforementioned long piece thus ensures that said cap is held in place and the coating is pinched by means of the spring trapped between them.
