<EMI ID=2.1>
<EMI ID=3.1>
Dry razor with mobile comb.
The invention relates to a dry razor with a movable comb, characterized in that the part of the comb provided with openings
and to apply on the skin moves at the same time as the counter-comb
so that it is automatically pulled away from the skin at regular intervals.
In known dry razors, the bristles are practically guided into the openings only by the sliding of the comb
on the skin. In the dry razor according to the invention, the chance of picking up hairs becomes greater, as they penetrate into
the openings not only by the normal sliding of the comb
on the skin, but in addition, directly. The straightened hairs, that
the pressure of the comb applied until now on the skin, can be raised periodically and during the movement of the comb towards the skin, to the right of the openings, they do not meet the slightest obstacle during the time that the counter-comb leaves these openings free; these hairs therefore penetrate more deeply and; faster in openings. The device shaves better
and faster.
In addition, the beating of the comb ensures a massage of
the skin.
In general, it is sufficient that the comb is lifted from
1 mm from the skin. This periodic movement, obtained by
mechanically or electromagnetically, can be of very variable frequency and depends among other things on the embodiment, the mass, etc., of the comb and the counter-comb.
In one embodiment of the invention, the apparatus
door in. one or more points on the skin so that the range of movement of the comb relative to the skin is determined.
In another embodiment, the apparatus comprises
a mass to be set in vibration in a known manner, and the vibration of this mass causes that of the apparatus.
According to another characteristic of the invention, the movement of the movable part of the comb comprises a component perpendicular to the skin and a component from another direction.
In this case, the comb performs for example a helical movement composed of the movement of the comb towards the skin, and of a continuous or alternating rectilinear rotational movement already proposed.
This embodiment has the following advantage: it ensures exploration of the skin, that is to say that the hairs are, so to say, sought after.
To maximize the yield, it is advisable to make the dry razor according to the invention, so that the time during which the comb is lifted from the skin is short compared to the time of application to the skin.
The description of the appended drawing, given by way of non-limiting example, will make it clear how the invention can be carried out, the features which emerge both from the text and from the drawing, of course, forming part of said invention.
Fig. 1 shows the head of a dry razor according to the invention; this head consists of a comb 1 provided with openings or grooves and a rotating counter-comb 2, a spring 3,
<EMI ID = 1.1>
re of the comb 1. The latter comprises a guide edge 5: the comb can therefore move axially, inside the. protection ring 6, on the smooth internal face 7. Between the ring 6 and the flange 8 of the comb is placed a spring 9.
The drive shaft 4 carries a toothed wheel 10, which
<EMI ID = 2.1>
ring 12, internally toothed. The ring 12 is mounted on balls 13 and the latter rest on a ring 14 which is integral with the. protection ring 6.
The ring gear 12 also carries a pin 15 which enters the groove 16 formed in the flange 8 of the comb. As shown in the figure, la. groove 16 is deeper on one side of flange 8 than on the other.
Shaft 4 drives gears 10 and 11, as well as
the ring gear 12, and when the pin 15 enters the shallower part of the groove 16, it lifts the comb 1
against the spring 9. When the shallower part of the groove 16 has passed, the comb descends. The upward and downward movement of the comb relative to the skin is thus obtained. During this time, depending on the friction between the various members, the comb 1 turns or not. Optionally, the comb rotation can be prevented.
So that the comb is better supported, the pin 15 can bear at several points, for example at three; the device must then have a corresponding number of grooves
16 arranged for example in the extension of one another on the periphery of the comb.
Fig. 2 shows yet another mode of drive in which the comb 1 is forced to perform a rotational movement. The corresponding organs are indicated by the same numbers ore in fig. 1. Unlike the device shown in FIG. 1, the ring gear is not independent; the internal face of the lateral wall of the comb 1 is integral with a set of teeth. The comb is therefore controlled directly, via the toothed wheel 11, by the shaft 4.
The axial movement of the comb is obtained by a single ball 13, which, like in the apparatus shown in FIG. 1, presses on the annular member 14. The guide groove of this member is however in a plane 17 which forms an acute angle
<EMI ID = 3.1>
tion the ball 5. The ball rolls on the somewhat inclined track, formed in the ring 14, to the lowest point, at. the extreme right, for example. Under the effect of the pressure of the spring 9, the comb follows this movement and therefore descends relative to the ring 16 to then rise during the upward movement of the ball. The comb, which is rotatable by itself, therefore simultaneously performs the axial movement in accordance with the invention. There occurs.
