   L'objet de la présente invention est un siège à un seul montant de support, alors que les sièges actuellement connus en comportent au moins deux. 



   L'objet de l'invention comporte un châssis constitué par un seul tube formant avec son extrémité inférieure la surface d'ap- pui et dont l'extrémité supérieure se termine à la hauteur du siège ou du dossier. 



   Cette forme d'exécution permet une fabrication économique étant donné qu'elle exige une très petite quantités de tube métal- lique et que le travail de mise en forme est très réduit. Un autre avantage du nouveau siège réside dans le fait que les appuis pour les bras ont été supprimés, tout en permettant à la personne assise un libre déplacement des pièds.
