La présente invention est relative à des avant-corps en acier moulé pour voitures de chemin de fer. 



   Elle a comme but, en tenant spécialement compte des particularités de fabrication de pièces en acier moulé, de réaliser une grande résistance, une grande   indéformabi-   lité et une grande légèreté, tout en assurant des commodi- tés pour le montage des organes de traction. 



   Dans un avant-corps suivant l'invention, la traverse de tête est disposée symétriquement par rapport aux par- ties par lesquelles elle est rendue solidaire du reste. 



  Les appuis de cette traverse épousent complètement le pro- fil de celle-ci. 



   En vue d'éviter les retassures lors du refroidisse- ment de l'acier liquide, on prévoit en outre, suivant l'invention, que des évidemments soient ménagés dans les raccords entre les différentes parties de l'avant-corps.

   Enfin, on prévoit également suivant l'invention que la partie médiane de la traverse de tête soit réunie au reste par deux porte-guides des organes de   traction venus   de fonderie. Chaque porte-guides porte un guide en deux pièces dont la pièce d'arrière est fixée au porte-guide après la mise en place des organes de traction. 



   D'autres détails et particularités de l'invention apparaîtront au cours de la description des dessins an- nexés au présent mémoire et qui représentent schématique- ment, une forme de réalisation de l'invention. 



   Figure 1 est une vue en perspective d'un avant-corps de châssis de voiture de chemin de fer. 



   Figure 2 est une coupe transversale dans la traverse de tête à l'emplacement des organes de traction. 



   Figure 3 est une coupe transversale dans la dite traverse à l'emplacement des buttoirs. 



   Figure 4 est une coupe à plus grande échelle, à l'en- droit d'un croisement. 



   Figure 5 est une coupe horizontale dans les guides des organes de traction, suivant la ligne V-V des figu- res 1, 6 et 7. 



   Figure 6 est une coupe verticale dans les guides des organes de traction suivant la ligne VI - VI des figu- res 1, 5 et 7. 



   Figure 7 est une coupe transversale suivant les li- gnes VII - VII des figures 5 et 6. 



   A la figure 1, on voit un avant-corps en acier moulé pour châssis de voiture de chemin de fer, comportant une traverse de tête 2 disposée symétriquement (figures 2 et 3) par rapport aux parties telles que 3, 4, 5. 6 et 7 par lesquelles elle est rendue solidaire du reste. De cette façon, les efforts de traction et de compression transmis par les organes de traction et de compression ne

 provoquent pas de déformation secondaire pouvant occasion- ner une torsion de la traverse. 



   Aux endroits où différentes parties se raccordent entre elles, sont prévus des évidements tels   que 8 (fi-   gure 1 et 4) qui évitent les retassures dans les angles. 



   La partie médiane 2a de la traverse de tête (figurel) est réunie au reste par deux porte-guides 5a et 5b venus de fonderies (figures 5 et 6). Chaque guide comporte deux pièces 9a et 9b. Les pièces d'avant 9a sont rivées, tan- dis que les pièces d'arrière 9b sont boulonnées après mi- se en place des organes de traction. Ces organes sont in- troduite entre les porte-guides par des échancrures telles que 6a eu 7a. Ils sont maintenus en place entre des re- bords 9d des pièces d'avant 9a et des pièces d'arrière 9b. 



  Ces dernières butent contre des saillies 5d des porte-gui- des qui empêchent le cisaillement des boulons de fixation. 



   Le porte-guide inférieur 5b présente un trou 5f qui permet l'introduction des broches reliant les organes de traction. Les ressorts mis en place sont définitivement immobilisés dès que les butées sont boulonnées sur les porte-guides- 
Il est évident que l'invention n'est pas exclusive- ment limitée à la forme de réalisation représentée et que bien des modifications peuvent être apportées dans la for- me et la disposition des éléments intervenant dans sa réa- lisation sans sortir de la portée du présent brevet.

   Its purpose, taking special account of the peculiarities of manufacturing cast steel parts, is to achieve great resistance, great undeformability and great lightness, while ensuring convenience for the assembly of the traction members.



   In a front section according to the invention, the head cross member is arranged symmetrically with respect to the parts by which it is made integral with the rest.



  The supports of this cross member completely follow the profile of this one.



   In order to avoid shrinkage during cooling of the liquid steel, provision is also made, according to the invention, for recesses to be made in the connections between the various parts of the fore-body.

   Finally, according to the invention, provision is also made for the middle part of the head cross member to be joined to the rest by two guide carriers for the traction members coming from the foundry. Each guide holder carries a two-piece guide, the rear part of which is fixed to the guide holder after the traction members have been fitted.

The front pieces 9a are riveted, while the rear pieces 9b are bolted after the traction members have been fitted. These members are introduced between the guide carriers by notches such as 6a and 7a. They are held in place between the edges 9d of the front pieces 9a and the rear pieces 9b.



  The latter abut against projections 5d of the guide holders which prevent shearing of the fixing bolts.



   The lower guide holder 5b has a hole 5f which allows the introduction of the pins connecting the traction members. The springs in place are definitively immobilized as soon as the stops are bolted on the guide-holders.
