Dans ces figures: 1 désigne la couverture supérieu- re et 2 la couverture inférieure; 3 est une patte attachée à la couverture inférieure par l'intermédiaire d'un liteau rigide 3', muni d'un portant 4. Une serrure 5 est fixée à la couverture supérieure 1 alors que les dents ¯6 s'enga- geant dans cette serrure sont fixées à la patte. Comme il est connu, chaque couple de feuilles est assemblé (par coutu- re ou similaires) de façon à former une poche, toutes des poches étant reliées sous le dos de l'album, chacune au moyen . d'une bande 7 formée par les prolongements correspondants des feuilles formant chaque poche, chaque bande constituant en som- me une charnière pour la poche correspondante.
Il arrive que si les poches sont un peu détachées l'une de l'autre, et si la mallette est en position verticale (dos en bas), les bandes 1 ont le tendance de fléchir sous le poids du disque contenu dans la poche correspondante. Pour obvier à cet inconvénient, on utilise deux étriers 8 et 8', formés chacun par un fil métallique courbé tel que représenté à la fig.5, chaque étrier étant articulé à une plaquette 9, laquelle est montée sous le dos 10 de l'album.

Au contraire, lorsque l'album est ouvert, les étriers sont basculés vers l'extérieur dans la position représentée en ligne pleine (fig.3) (Voir aussi fig.2).
Il est bien entendu que l'invention a été décrite et illustrée à titre purement indicatif et nullement limitatif et il va de soi que de nombreuses modifications peuvent être appor- tées à ses détails sans s'écarter de son esprit.
