Invisible hinge with slide
The invention relates to the field of hinges in general and in particular that of invisible hinges. Invisible corkscrews have the disadvantage of not being precise, taking up a lot of space, and being complicated.
The present invention aims to overcome these disadvantages. The invention, as characterized in its claims, solves the problems by creating a set of parts that allows the hinge to fold and open without taking up much space, to be precise in its movement, and to be simple while being invisible.
To allow the hinge to be invisible after closing, a displacement of the axis of the hinge is provided by a slide, and is thus housed in the body of the hinge.
To accommodate the bulk of the hinge folded, a box is fitted in one of the branches of the hinge.
These advantages are achieved by the improvements of the present inventions which consist essentially of
<EMI ID = 1.1>
to house a part of the other branch, and its axis, and
2 [deg.] This second branch is mounted with a slide that allows to move a portion of the branch, to clear the axis of rotation of the hinge.
The invention is described below in more detail using drawings representing only one mode of execution.
Figure 1 shows the entire hinge seen in perspective. The hinge is in the open position. Figure 2 shows the branch of the hinge shaped bowl, and provided with a female axis in section from above and from the side. Figure 3 shows the branch, provided with a male pin which is housed in the log-shaped branch, and provided with a raised section in the form of a slide, in section from above and from the side. Figure 3bis shows the branch, provided with a male pin which is housed in the log-shaped branch, and provided with a raised section in the form of a slide, in side section. Figure 4 shows a sliding portion of the branch intended to operate with that of Figure 3, in section from above and from the side.
In the various figures, the same reference numbers indicate the same parts in different positions.
A hinge leg 1, provided with a bore 3 intended to be brought into contact with the axis of rotation 2 for the hinge, makes it possible to accommodate a portion 6 of the second branch 3 in a small pocket 4.
A second branch 5, has a portion 6, provided with a bore 7, intended to be brought into contact with the axis of rotation 2, and this portion 6 has a shape that allows it to be housed in the stall 4 of the This second branch also consists of a second portion 8, with a truncated rectangular pyramid shape, intended to be housed in the room 9 and slide there.
The part 9 is provided with a housing 10 which has a shape of truncated rectangular pyramid, but negative, which allows to accommodate the part 8 which will slide there, and two stops 11 close the sides.
The parts 1 and 9 are intended to be fixed in the same material of the elements to open, such as a box. The piece 9 will be fixed in the lid, and the piece 1 in the base of the box. To open the box, it will first slide the cover on the box, then then tilt the lid using the hinge become apparent, following the displacement of the lid.
