Abstract

The brace-saving protective installation is for use in supermarkets where shopping trolleys are used or in factories and warehouses where forklifts are circulating. An elastic structure is used but in no case is it necessary for the satisfactory function of the protection. The forces acting on the elastic plug (1) and brace (5) can be split into a transversal force and a longitudinal force. On the brace, these result in a sliding force and a tractive force. The construction is so developed that the outer tube (2) for the transversal part of the force presses against the brace. This has an energy-absorbing effect on the brace, which it protects against too high sliding forces. It is even possible to turn the plug so that it fits into the opening of the foot plate in order to offer protection against transversal forces.

Anchor-saving and energy-absorbing longitudinal protector.

The invention is a protection device that as barrier barriers or zones must dynamically protect against moving objects. The protector consists of an above-ground part with a width that depends on the width of the object to be protected, which allows a specific deflection to absorb the necessary energy in the event of a possible impact and, in particular, to save the attachments. The whole is fixed in the ground with anchors, the number of which is related to the characteristics of the traffic moving around.

The energy is absorbed by means of a plastic plug that is also geared to the environment. Both the horizontal and vertical forces on the ground anchors are tempered by the presence of the plug.

The protector can be used in places with both slow traffic eg shopping carts in the supermarket as well

<EMI ID = 4.1>

The plug is installed in such a way that it has both the shear forces and the pressure force on the anchors

<EMI ID = 5.1> use known bolt anchor. The lack of elements below ground level makes excavation work superfluous and prevents the possible water from seeping into the resilient system.

Every point on the full length and the sides together with the back of the corners are active points where the protector can work actively. the protector can therefore be hit, swung and protected from all sides. Because the protector protects its anchors both on shear and on draft, this protector can absorb energies that result from collisions at different heights.

Figure 1 is an example of a top view of a protector. Figure 2 is an example of a possible side view. Figure 3 is a section to gain more insight into the operating system. Figure 4 is the same cross-section as that of Figure 3, but in the loaded state. This is the situation if a collision has occurred along arrow F.

The shape shown in figures 1,2,3 and 4 consists of a rack that can be slid in front of the posts (4) of the rack

It is possible to turn the plug (1) in such a way that it fits into the opening of the base plate in order to create an additional one

Claims (1)

The longitudinal protector can best be summarized as a barrier that must dynamically and elastically protect objects or zones and also do not damage the anchors in the ground. In the event of a collision, the energy will initially be absorbed elastically. In a second phase, this barrier will act as a rigid obstruction. The width of the protector depends on the object to be protected. The energy-absorbing mechanism, which essentially consists of 1 or more plastic plugs, protects the anchors against both transverse forces and tensile forces. The longitudinal protector of claim 1 is characterized by its anchor-saving and vehicle-stopping properties. The longitudinal protection according to claim 1 is characterized by an area of operation along all free sides of the protector and at all heights. The longitudinal rack protector according to the preceding claim can also be equipped with a detection and <EMI ID = 8.1>
