Figuur 1 een perspectiefzicht weergeeft van een glaswand waarop volgens de uitvinding een cilindrische luifel is bevestigd ;
<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>
<Desc/Clms Page number 4>

Mounting element for cylindrical canopy cupboard.
The present invention relates to a cylindrical awning cupboard of the type in which between a fixed part of the awning cupboard and a so-called front profile, hinged articulating arms are provided whose purpose is to keep the awning cloth under tension, more particularly a mounting for such a canopy cupboard on a fixed construction.
The main purpose of this invention is indeed a mounting for a cylindrical canopy cupboard that is very effective and that allows a very simple, relatively inexpensive and very aesthetic fixation on all possible walls, even on glass wall constructions.
To this end, this attachment mainly consists of a support plate which is mounted inside the rear shell of the cylindrical canopy cupboard, wherein at least one transverse rib is provided on this support plate at the rear through which the canopy cupboard is connected to a fixed construction.
Normally, the actual canopy structure will be attached to the aforementioned support plate.
With the insight to better demonstrate the characteristics of the invention, a preferred embodiment is shown below in the accompanying drawings as an example without any limiting character in which:
Figure 1 shows a perspective view of a glass wall on which a cylindrical canopy is attached according to the invention;
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
figure 2 represents a perspective view on a larger scale according to arrow F2 in figure 1; figure 3 represents a view according to line III-III in figure 1; figure 4 represents a section according to line IV-IV in figure 3.
Figure 1 shows a construction wall 1 which mainly consists of glass panels 2 which are mounted in known manner in, for example, pillars 3, for example in aluminum, wherein a cylindrical canopy cupboard 5 is arranged against this wall 1 by means of fastening elements 4 according to the invention .
The canopy cupboard 5 essentially consists of a rear shell 6 and front shells 7-8 with a front profile 9 against the latter.
In the canopy cupboard 5 thus formed, the canopy cloth 10 is rolled up and the traditional resilient articulated arms are provided, the purpose of which is to push the front profile 9 away from the canopy cupboard 5 and thereby to keep the canopy cloth 10 under tension.
The fastening elements 4 according to the invention consist, as shown in the figures, of a support plate 11 which is fixed by means of screws 12, which pass through holes 13, and which is fixed against the rear shell 6 by the screws 12 in grooves 14 of ribs 15 to screw.
Preferably, a longitudinally-oriented reinforcement profile 16 is provided on the support plate 11, for example by welding, and at least a transverse rib 17 is welded to the support plate 11 with reinforcement profile 16 which at the rear is provided with a

flange 18 can be provided in which holes 19 are arranged.
It is clear that the entire canopy structure, as there, the canopy cloth axis and the articulated arms are suitably connected, more particularly by means of a support plate 20 and bolts 21 to the aforementioned plate 11.
However, nothing prevents the transverse rib 17 from being connected to a fixed structure by other means, such as welding or the like. The fastening elements 4 will be provided at regular distances along the length of the entire cylindrical awning and per provision a slit (not shown in the drawings) will be provided in the rear shell 6 through which the transverse rib can be mounted.
Figure 1 shows an application in which a cylindrical canopy cupboard 5 is attached to a glass wall 1 by means of fixing elements 4 according to the invention.
This attachment is schematically shown in Figure 3 where the flange 18 of each transverse rib 17 of an attachment element 4 is connected to a post 3 of the glass wall 4, by means of screws 22, the actual attachment and the shape and dimensions of the flange 18 depend on the shape and dimensions of the posts 3.
Such a cylindrical canopy cupboard 5 can of course also be attached by means of
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
fastening elements 4 against any other construction or wall.
The present invention is by no means limited to the embodiment described above and shown in the accompanying drawings, but a fastening element 4 according to the invention can be realized in all shapes and dimensions without departing from the scope of the invention.
