Abstract

In the case of fitting of the wall box (1) to a partition wall or onto theface (21) of a profiled metal section (20) which forms the armature of thepartition wall, adequate attachment brackets (2) are used for this purpose.In the case of the box (1) needing to be fixed to the face (22) of theprofiled section (20), then it is attached by inserting the tenons (11) intothe holes (3) of the base (10), designed to be clipped onto the profiledsection without deforming it. The advantages provided by this assembly are:rapid positioning, as a made to measure base is no longer required; correctalignment of the box (1) with respect to the profiled section; more spaceavailable for the connections due to the rectangular shape of the inside ofthe box.

L'invention concerne un boîtier d'encastrement et un socle utilisable dans les cloisons creuses à armatures métalliques ou en bois.

  
Dans les cloisons creuses on utilise soit des 'boîtiers d'encastrement en bois qui permettent suivant leur longueur le placement de I, 2 ou 3 éléments (interrupteurs ou prises de courant), soit des boîtiers ronds en pvc qui permettent le placement d'un seul élément. Les boîtiers en bois doivent être fixés sur les montants constituants l'armature de la cloison, lorsque celle-ci est en bois il n'y a aucun problème, mais lorsqu'on se trouve en présence de profiles métalliques, il est souvent nécessaire de confectionner un socle en bois, ce qui engendre une perte de temps et occasionne parfois un mauvais positionnement du boîtier. Quant au boîtier rond, il se fixe directement sur le panneau après avoir foré celui-ci à l'aide d'une scie en cloche.

   Si ce mode de fixation est très rapide, il faut constater que le boîtier se désolidarise très rapidement de la plaque de plâtre sur laquelle il est fixé quant il contient une prise de courant dans laquelle on introduit ou retire fréquemment une fiche. Outre ces problèmes de fixations, les deux types de boîtier ont aussi le désavantage de n'offrir qu'une place restreinte pour les connections.
