Abstract

The proposal is for a rim brake with a displacement force converter (11) fitted at the end of a brake lever (16, 18) and between the brake arms (3), in which a cable (9) connecting the two brake levers together is guided over rollers on the transfer bracket (12) in such a way that there is only a slight change in the direction of force of the cable (9).
