Abstract

Both pistons are connected by connecting rods to the crankshaft. The internal combustion engine has continuous combustion with a combustion chamber under high pressure, an air reservoir with high pressure, a compression chamber with a cylinder and piston, an expansion chamber with cylinder and piston both pistons being connected to the crankshaft by connecting rods. In a first position the piston (4) in the compression chamber moves from top dead centre to bottom dead centre. An inlet valve (5) is opened and fresh air is aspirated. In a second position, the piston in the compression chamber moves from bottom dead centre to top dead centre. The pressure rises from P1= 1 Atm to P2 = P (pressure of the inner combustion chamber (2)). A valve (6) is opened and the entire fresh air flow into the combustion chamber. The pressure in the combustion chamber is slightly increased to P3.
