Abstract

The invention relates to a method and a device for detecting whether persons or mobile objects have entered or left an area (S). Each person or object carries a signal generator that emits or triggers a code which is related to the respective person or object (A1-A6, B2, B3, C). The reception of a specific code (A1-A6) is detected as a warning signal that the person or object has entered or left the area in an unauthorised manner. The method and device prevent persons or objects from entering or leaving a monitored area unrecognised or in an unauthorised manner, whilst allowing authorised persons or objects to enter or leave the area easily. The invention achieves this by providing at least a second signal generator which is independent of the first signal generator. Said second signal generator emits or triggers a signal which, when received simultaneously with the specific code that represents a warning signal, displays that the respective person or object, to which the related warning signal code is allocated, is authorised to leave the area.
