Abstract
The invention relates to a method and an arrangement for measuring current on a storage battery cell comprising at least two flat collector electrodes and connection electrodes for consuming the current, the latter being electroconductively connected to said collector electrodes. The aim of the invention is to develop a method and an arrangement with which the disadvantages of known devices are avoided and which provide an economical, rapid and reliable means of measuring current without any undesirable, additional energy losses, and with high measuring accuracy and zero stability. To this end, the electric voltage differential between an additional connection electrode (S) of a non-connected segment (7) of one of the flat collector electrodes (1, 2) and the corresponding connection electrode (A, B) of the remaining part of the flat collector electrode (1, 2) is measured and used to determine the overall current.
