Abstract
The invention relates to a method and a device for producing a moulded plastic part, comprising several zones (42, 43). In methods and devices of this type, a moulded plastic part is usually produced in one production step in a mould. However, known moulding methods have the following disadvantage: the folding of the end regions of the cover material consisting of the laminated plastic zones into the plastic support material causes possible breaking points in the moulded plastic part and in addition, the area between the zones to be laminated and the zones consisting solely of injection-moulded material is not sealed satisfactorily. As a result of this insufficient seal, injected plastic melt can inadvertently seep under high pressure from the zones consisting solely of injection-moulded material into the zones to be laminated. The invention is characterised in that blade sections (50) are provided on the borders between the zones to be laminated (42) and the zones consisting solely of injection-moulded material (43), onto which slides (30) for sealing the zones (42, 43) can be pushed. Each inventive slide has a groove (31), whose lateral walls (34) encompass the end of the blade section (51) and optionally the border (41) of a cover material (44) laid on the blade section, when the slide (30) is pushed onto said blade section (50). Said lateral walls thus form a melt-tight barrier between the zones to be laminated (42) and the zones consisting solely of injection-moulded material (43). The finished moulded plastic parts produced by the inventive method and the inventive device have no undesired possible breaking points or defects resulting from the seepage of pressurised plastic melt into the zones to be laminated.
