Abstract

The invention relates to a method for producing an ultraphobic surface on aluminium as the supporting material, and to the use of this surface. According to the invention, the surface of an aluminium substrate is provided with a periodic microstructure with a depth of 1 to 1000 mu m, the surface is then anodized, especially by anodic oxidation, optionally treated in hot water, calcined at a temperature of 400 to 500 DEG C, optionally coated with an adhesion promoter layer and then provided with a hydrophobic or especially oleophobic coating.
