Abstract

The Coanda kitchen exhaust system is designed specifically to mitigate several issues with reference to commercial foodservice kitchen exhaust systems that are becoming more common due to greater urbanisation and mixed-use developments. The system is modular and in component form to allow for pre-production of standard sections and pieces which can then be incorporated with a single custom section of a specific size and can be easily assembled onsite. It utilises the Coanda effect to cause maximum capture of grease and smoke particles and thus allows the system to work with a lower airflow than traditional systems.
