Description

Description Gear Locking Mechanisms Technical Field of the Invention The present invention relates to the manufacturing field of electric vehicles, and particularly to a gear locking mechanism. Background of the invention Both electric vehicles and dust carts need gear shifting devices for locking a gear after shifting of gears. The existing gear locking devices are complicated in structure and inconvenient to operate and assemble, and are thus not applicable to electric vehicles and dust carts. Summary of the Invention To solve the technical problems in the prior art, the present invention provides a gear locking mechanism, including a gear plate, a rotating shaft, a gear column, a rotating rod, a connecting plate and a tension spring. The rotating rod is connected to the connecting plate. The connecting plate is rotatably fixed onto a suspension arm via the rotating shaft. The gear column is provided on the connecting plate. The gear plate is provided with a first gear and a second gear. Further, the gear column is 3-7cm in length. The gear locking mechanism provided by the present invention is simple in structure and convenient in gear shifting operation, and is thus applicable to electric vehicles and dust carts. Moreover, all motions are done on a radial plane of the rotating shaft without any axial slippage, so the gear locking mechanism operates realizably and stably. 1 Brief Description of the Drawing Fig. 1 is a schematic diagram of a gear locking mechanism according to the present invention, at a first gear; Fig. 2 is a schematic diagram of the gear locking mechanism according to the present invention, during the gear shifting and rotating process; and Fig. 3 is a schematic diagram of the gear locking mechanism according to the present invention, at a second gear. Detailed Description of the Invention The present invention will be further described as below with reference to the accompanying drawings. The gear locking mechanism provided by the present invention includes a gear plate 1, a rotating shaft 2, a gear column 3, a rotating rod 4, a connecting plate 5 and a tension spring 6. The rotating rod 4 is connected to the connecting plate 5. The connecting plate 5 is rotatably fixed onto a suspension arm 7 via the rotating shaft 3. The gear column 3 is provided on the connecting plate 5. The gear plate 1 is provided with a first gear 8 and a second gear 9. The tension spring 6 is used for resetting the rotating rod 4. There may be a plurality of gears of the gear plate 1, not limited to two gears. The gear column is 3-7cm in length. The present invention is applicable to mechanisms having two or more gear states. By operating the rotating rod, the gear column is driven to do two types of complex circular motion to enter the positions of Gear 1, Gear 2 and the like on the gear plate, so that gear locking is realized. 2

Claims (2)

1. A gear locking mechanism, comprising a gear plate, a rotating shaft, a gear column, a rotating rod, a connecting plate and a tension spring, characterized in that the rotating rod is connected to the connecting plate; the connecting plate is rotatably fixed onto a suspension arm via the rotating shaft; the gear column is provided on the connecting plate; and the gear plate is provided with a first gear and a second gear.
2. The gear locking mechanism according to claim 1, characterized in that the gear column is 3-7cm in length. 3
