Description

Editorial Note 2011201601 There are 4 pages of Description AUSTRALIA Patents Act 1990 COMPLETE SPECIFICATION STANDARD PATENT PLECTRUM HOLDER The following statement is a full description of this invention, including the best method of performing it known to me; DESCRIPTION I invented and manufactured the Plectrum Holder because in my view it would enhance my ability and give me an advantage when I are playing my guitar. Through practice and gained experience it was extremely difficult to maintain a repeditive and ongoing stability to enable complete control and mastering the art of being a professional guitarist, singer song writer and entertainer. This is what inspired me to invent the Plectrum Holder I manufactured and use every time I play my guitar There is never a day, that I play my guitar, that I don't use the Plectrum Holder I have manufactured and developed to this day which enables me to play and sing 35 songs, 6 of my own, solo with my Electric Aucostic Guitar, microphone & amplifiers. The Plectrum Holder allows me to play extremely fast and aggressive, and for longer periods of time. I cannot play my Guitar at all without using my Plectrum Holder.
STATEMENT OF PARTS The body is manifactured out of PVC pipe, cut to dimensions see figure 2 for exploded view. The 5/32 hole is then drilled in the PVC body. The hole is tapped and the 3/16 small head roof bolt is screwed firmly into the PVC Plectrum Holder body. The .73 mm Jim Dunlop Plectrums I use are punched with a 5/32 hole in the centre of the width of the Plectrum, and 3/8" in from the back of the Plectrum. Then to assemble the Plectrum Holder, place a 3/16" flat washer on the the bolt, then screw a Plectrum onto the bolt, and then another 3/16" flat washer and then the hexagon nut with the rounded edge facing out, is tightened with my fingers. The PVC packer is cut and then shaped to suit the guitarists needs to obtain a tapered press on fit, and then glued and clamped into position with PVC Solvent glue, see figure 2, and left for 24 hours to cure. The sharp edges are then removed, and the Key Ring carrying slot can be drilled if required. Extra Plectrums can be punched ready for replacements, and easily changed with my fingers. Parts Numbered list; 1- PVC Plectrum Holder Body. 2- 3/16 Small Head Roof Bolt. 3- PVC packer cut and shaped. 4- Slot for key ring. 5- .73mm Jim Dunlop PlectrLun, made in the USA. 6- 3/16 flat washers. 7- Plectrum Holder fitted to Forefinger.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS Figure 1, is the Plectrum Holder in Actual size. Figure 2 is the Expanded View of the Plectrurn Holder Parts. Figure 3 is the View of the Plectrum Holder in the Pressed on Fitting on a persons Forefinger.
