Abstract
The device has a bending press with 2 relatively movable press beams with bending tools, an automated manipulation device with a gripper, positioning and control and monitoring devices. The manipulation device has 3 linkage arms joined via pivoting devices to a pivot arm arrangement. A workpiece detector is arranged in the end region of the pivot arm arrangement. The positioning device has at least two stop fingers with distance sensors. The device has a bending press (2) with two mutually relatively movable press beams with bending tools, an automated manipulation device (4) with a gripper, a positioning device and a control and monitoring device. The manipulation device has 3 linkage arms joined via pivoting devices to a pivot arm arrangement. A sheet or workpiece (3) detector is arranged in the end region of the pivot arm arrangement. The positioning device is a stop device with at least two stop fingers with distance measurement sensors. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) a method of positioning a sheet or workpiece in a bending press (b) and a method of positioning a gripper device of a manipulator on a sheet or workpiece and feeding the sheet or workpiece into a production device.
