Abstract
The present invention relates to a process for producing a yellow iron oxide pigments comprising the steps ofI) mixing preprecipitated FeCl2 and an alpha-FeOOH nucleus produced by the "alkali" process,II) oxidizing the suspension in a first oxidation step at 20 to 45° C.III) oxidizing the suspension in a first oxidation step at 55 to 85° C.
