Abstract

Accident prevention finishing element (11) comprises fixing laminar elements (12) that fixes the finishing element to a structure and sheath mechanism (4) made of resilient material. The sheath mechanism comprises a flat portion (7) and a toric element (6) connected to it. It is permanently fixed to the fixing laminar elements. An independent claim is also included for a seat comprising a support to be fixed to a support structure (1) and arranged for receiving a user sitting on it. The accident prevention finishing element is associated with at least one edge region of the support.
