Description

Complete Specifications Innovative Patent Fence/ .1covering method as fence/wall rendering on a specific known type of fence/wall.
The following statement is a full description of this invention including the best method of performing it known to me.
Fence/wall covering method as rendering This invention relates to cement render by a number of methods that by their nature are of light weight and will not effect the integrity of the original cement fibro corrugated fencing and or walls original fence /wall commonly known as super six or hardie fencing systems produced by the Hardie group of company's as such is used as boundary fencing around dwellings etc.
The object of my invention is to change the appearance of one type of product using material and method into a totally different appearance of that original product, at a relatively low cost.
The original type of fence/wall by its very nature of construction, corrugated ribbing effect and grey colour can be unsightly. My invention using innovative steps changes fence/walls to a smooth or patterned finish incorporating any colour, can transform what would be a standard cheap fixture into the illusion of sold construction which would add value and be aesthetically attractive. A much cheaper alternative than removing existing fencing/walls, replacing with solid constructed brick panelled walls. The cost of removing and replacing said corrugated cement fibro fencing walls is eliminated by my invention.
Method of construction Infill 1) The concave hollow corrugating (FIGI) that the original fibro cement fence/ wall so constructed needs to be filled using light weighted material so as to achieve a smooth level working surface.
2) The method as follows: prefabricating polystyrene, polyurethane or similar product shaped to fit concave of original fence/wall full height and to be 100mm below ground level glued in place with building construction grade glue (FIG 2).
3) Polystyrene and or other material to be no less than grade S.L. and be of a density of not less than 14 Kg per cubic metre. This infill material (FIG 2 must also incorporate in its construction a rib (FIG3) 20mm wide and not less than Thick so as to allow wire reinforcing (FIG 5) to be fixed away from surface of fence/wall Reinforcing 1) With rendering, a method of reinforcing needs to be used to prevent, cracking or movement of render 2) Galvanising mesh wire (FIG 5) 20mm square openings and of light weight construction so placed as to cover the whole of fence/wall to facilitate render over through reinforcing 3) Securing of reinforcing material is by way of screws (FIG 4) or staples affixed into infill product (FIG 2) these items will be galvanised to prevent corrosion.
Render Material Method 1) A morter mix of 1 part cement, 4 parts yellow brickies sand, 1 part lime, a cement bonding agent (Bond Crete) as required, to manufacture specification, a cement colouring pigment added as required lastly water to combine all ingredients so as to make a smooth pliable consistency. Morter mix is then applied using metal trowel implement morter mix is troweled on long sweeping strokes and forced through reinforcing onto fitted infill (FIG2) fence/wall face (FIGI) and in such a way as to cover reinforcing FIG to a thickness not less than Method 2) a morter mix as previously described using some or all of the ingredients but of a consistency so as to be sprayed by mechanical method onto the previously prepared surface of the fence /wall.
Finishes to fence/wall After either of the above application methods are used a finish of different types can be obtained 1) rough finish 2) broomed finish using stiff bristle brush 3) rough trowel finish using trowel 4) bagged finish hessian bag pushed onto surface to create textured appearance Smooth finish 1) Trowel material and worked until all irregularities removed Patterned finishes 1) Using stencils laid on final finish. Colour pigment agent then sprayed on over stencil when stencil removed patterns of various shapes are obtained 2) Other materials or objects could be placed into drying morter surface to create different effects other than plain cement morter finish Patterned Colour Finishes 1) An effect of pattern can be achieved by adding colour pigment to morter mix as it is applied in the first instances FIG (6) It will be realised that the method of rendering fibre cement ribbed fencing/ walls may be done using part of the description as previously given. The basis of this inventions is as the steps outlined but the type of products incorporated as here in described may change with time. More flexible and newer products released to the general public at a future date may influence the materials used in my invention.
Not with standing this invention stands as- to be influenced by any relevant new product or ingredient for the life of this patent, which results in the same outcome as described in this patent.
