Abstract
A release system in a built-in installation circuit breaker for up to 25 A, which switches off in the event of excess current, of electrical low-voltage distribution networks comprises a thermal release device (16) with a bimetallic strip, an electromagnetic release device consisting of a yoke (72), a core (67), a coil (60), a coil former (64), a movable armature (62) and an impact pin (66) which can be operated by the armature, a contact system which is arranged in a switching chamber (32) and has two fixed and one moving contact part (36, 42), having small contact plates (40, 44) and a manually operable switching lever (26) which is mechanically engaged via a locking mechanism (76) with the contact system. A moving contact which can be operated dynamically above a specific current intensity by the electromagnetic field, without any additional means of amplification such as iron parts in the form of a slotted motor, is installed in the double interruption contact system which is arranged in the switching chamber (32). <IMAGE>
