Abstract

The fuel injection valve according to the invention is characterized in that it has an excitable actuator in the form of an electromagnetic circuit having a solenoid (1), an outer magnetic circuit component (11), and a displaceable armature (27) for actuating a valve closure body (24) acting together with a valve seat (30) disposed on a valve seat body (29). The outer bowl-shaped magnetic circuit component (11) has a component floor (12). A simply designed, disc-shaped cover part (14) is inserted in the outer magnetic circuit component (11) on the side opposite the component floor (12), serving as the inner pole of the magnetic circuit. The fuel injection valve is particularly suited for use in fuel injection systems of mixed-compression spark-ignited internal combustion engines.
