Abstract
The steam turbine (1) is cooled through an external coolant vapor channel (14). A lateral channel (21) with a valve (23) is between the coolant channel and the fresh steam feed (10). The valve opens on an abrupt pressure loss, for the coolant to flow with a high pressure into an inflow zone.
