Abstract

The seal has a gap between the cover and the housing and/or between adjacent covers. The seal has two contact flanges (11a), which are arranged at the lower edge and/or the side edge of the cover. The seal has an elastic core (14) e.g. massive rubber lip, which is arranged at a central base (11b), where a thickness of the core is equal to a thickness of the cover.
