Abstract

The actuator has a movable handle (2) and a rotating unit (3) that work together in such a manner that the handle is rotatable in a rotating level in a direction from a neutral position to a rotatable position. The rotatable position is formed as an indexed position in such a manner that break force acts on the handle in the rotatable position. The break force is produced by a magnetic strength. An independent claim is also included for an electrical and/or electronic switch e.g. joystick or cursor switch such as electronic gear selection switch for a motor vehicle, with an actuator.
