Abstract

A heat sink structure for light-emitting diode (LED) based streetlamp is provided, comprising an upper cover (1) on which heat sink fins (12) are formed integrally and a lower cover (2). The heat energy generated from the LEDs (4) mounted within the upper and lower covers can be removed through the heat sink fins (12), achieving the effect of rapid removing of the heat energy.
