Abstract

Heat sensitive recording material for duplex printing has a web type substrate in which the fraction of heat reacting components in the heat-sensitive recording layer of the substrate lies in the range 35 to 38 percent by weight and the ratio of pigment by weight to binding agent by weight in the heat sensitive recording layer is in the range 0.5 to 1 up to 1.5 to 1. An independent claim is included for the use of the inventive recording material for offset, screen, gravure and flexoprinting.
